Official Trailer Lineup at a Glance
The promotional campaign for The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage Enjoys a Second Lease on Life (Japanese title: 追放されたチート付与魔術師は気ままなセカンドライフを謳歌する。) rolled out in distinct phases across 2026: a teaser trailer with the October premiere announcement, a full main trailer with a new key visual, and a modified main trailer released just before broadcast. Each video reveals progressively more about Rein (also romanized Rain), his exile from the adventurer guild, and the enhancement magic that defines his second life.
Video Highlights:
- Official teaser establishing Rein's premise and the October 2026 premiere window
- First look at the P.A.WORKS animation style and enhancement magic effects
- Introduction of the core cast surrounding the laid-off mage
For a Japanese promotional cut with additional footage, the official Japanese PV offers another angle on the series' presentation.
Watch the teaser first for a spoiler-light premise, then the main trailer. The modified main trailer reorders and trims footage, so it works best as a final refresher before episode 1 rather than your first exposure.
